中国南部の亜熱帯林において、中国科学院西双版納熱帯植物園（XTBG）と聊城大学の研究チームが、新種の地衣類形成菌「Pallidogramme norstictica」を発見した。本種は雲南省哀牢山の標高約2470mの樹皮上から採取され、褐色の地衣体やスリット状の子実体、ヨウ素で紫色に変化する胞子、ノルスチク酸の存在などが特徴である。形態的には近縁種と類似するが、化学成分や胞子構造で区別される。また、これまでインドやネパールでのみ確認されていた「Pallidogramme divaricoides」も広西チワン族自治区で中国初記録となった。これにより、中国の地衣類多様性の未解明部分がさらに明らかになった。

Abstract
Comprehensive morphological, anatomical and chemical analyses support the recognition of an additional species in the genus Pallidogramme, which is described herein as new to science under the name P. norstictica. Additionally, Pallidogramme divaricoides is newly reported from China. This study also summarizes the key characteristics of the known species worldwide.
