NASAの「エウロパ・クリッパー」探査機は、2024年10月14日に打ち上げられ、現在、木星の衛星エウロパへの旅を続けています。この探査機は、太陽電池パネルの展開を完了し、宇宙空間での電力供給を確保しました。さらに、科学機器の展開も順調に進んでおり、エウロパの氷殻や地下海洋の調査に向けた準備が進められています。エウロパ・クリッパーは、2030年にエウロパに到達し、約50回のフライバイを通じて、生命存在の可能性を探る詳細なデータを収集する予定です。
