◆NASAは水曜日にヒューストンのジョンソン宇宙センターからニュースを発表し、リーダーシップと科学者が9月に着陸して以来初めて小惑星物質を披露しました。
◆宇宙で収集した45億年前の小惑星ベンヌの試料に高濃度の炭素と水が含まれていることが初の調査で判明し、これが地球上の生命の基本構成要素の可能性を示唆している。
◆ベンヌ試料は地球に届けられた最大の炭素豊富な小惑星試料で、太陽系の形成や地球に生命前駆物質がもたらされた可能性、小惑星の地球衝突を防ぐ対策などに洞察を提供します。今後2年間、科学チームは試料をさらに詳細に調査し、世界中の科学者が研究できるように保存されます。
