アメリカの民間企業ファイアフライ・エアロスペースは、NASAの商業月面輸送サービス（CLPS）プログラムの一環として、月着陸船「ブルーゴースト」の月面軟着陸に成功しました。2025年1月に打ち上げられ、3月2日に「危機の海」に着陸。NASAの科学実験装置を含む10のペイロードを搭載し、標本採取やX線撮影、日食観測などを実施予定です。この成功はアルテミス計画に貢献し、民間企業の宇宙探査への関与を強化するものとなりました。
